Caroline Reeves Johnson has been living and painting in Southwest Colorado for nearly 25 years. She has been drawn to the western landscape because it offers a model of balance in the most profound sense. The scale is both intimate and vast, the colors harsh and subtle, the forms apparently random and yet logical. "It provides me a sense of continuity and renewal." Her works have been featured in regional and national exhibits, galleries, and private collections throughout the West.
